BAH logo for web onlyBusiness After Hours (BAH) is a networking and educational event coordinated by the Greater Shelburne Falls Area Business Association. These events provide helpful information and networking opportunities to its members. Members of the GSFABA are encouraged to host BAH, if they have the ability to do so, to expose their business to other members, and help in this mission to unite the community.

Registration after August 8 can happen on Friday, August 10 at the pre-race spaghetti supper or the morning of the race on Saturday, August 11.

8K and 3K: Age 19 and under pay their age; 70+ is free

8K, Ages 20 to 69:

3/16 – 5/31: $30.00
6/1 – 6/31: $35.00
7/1 – 8/8: $40.00
8/10 and 8/11: $45.00

3K, Ages 20 to 69:

3/16-5/31: $20.00
6/1 – 6/31: $25.00

Shirt ordering with registration closes on Friday, July 27th at Midnight. Shirts are not included in the registration fee. Tech shirts are available in Unisex and Women's Cut, and the NEW Long Sleeve cotton shirt is available in Unisex only.

Fundraising Options for 2018

The race continues to partner with local charities and runners have 3 engagement options:

  1. You can state that you are happy the race supports good works, and not direct funds to any specific charity.
  2. You can specifically direct funds to one the participating charities (see this year's options below)
  3. You can actively fundraise through a customized pledge page.

DIALSelfDIAL/SELF Youth & Community Services is a community-based non-profit agency that has been serving the youth and communities of Western MA since 1977. Providing a wide array of services that foster youth empowerment and community service. Over the course of the last three decades, thousands of area youth have been served by the agency in Franklin and Hampshire Counties and the North Quabbin Region.

CancerConnectionCancer Connection provides a haven where people with cancer, their loved ones and caregivers can learn to cope with the physical and emotional turmoil that is part of a cancer diagnosis and to explore ways to enhance their strength, their hope and their care through support groups, integrative therapies, creative activities and education. All services are offered free of charge.

ArtGardenThe Art Garden serves the rural hilltowns of western Massachusetts, creating a bridge between community art practices and contemporary art thinking. They provide low-cost, sliding scale, and free cultural programming for the community. They create a nurturing, non-judgmental, and inspirational environment where people of all ages and experience engage in the creative process, and explore and exchange ideas through individual and collaborative art-making.

FriendsOfChildrenFriends of Children is a nonprofit organization dedicated to impacting the lives of hundreds of children each year by working to bring security and hope to abused and neglected children in the foster care system. The mission of Friends of Children is to serve the needs of children through individual case advocacy and support of coordinated programs and policies to improve their lives. Our vision is that all children, especially those who are most vulnerable, have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. We believe all children have the right to safe, consistent and nurturing homes in which to live, as well as access to essential services and quality educational opportunities that will allow them to succeed.

The Northwest Massachusetts Incident Management Team (NWMIMT) is a volunteer public safety management team. Our mission is to provide resources in manpower, equipment, and management expertise to assist a community in the mitigation of emergency situations. Most of our members are career or volunteer firefighters, but an increasing number are coming to us from the private sector. Within western Massachusetts, southern Vermont, and southern New Hampshire, we respond when a disaster or other emergency incident exceeds the local community’s ability to effectively manage the response. When assisting these communities, our services are free of charge, provided under mutual aid agreements.

Modeled after a similar community dinner in France, this unique event features a single table set with linens and china for 400 people along the entire span of the Iron Bridge over the Deerfield River that connects the towns of Buckland and Shelburne.

bridge moonlight magicMoonlight Magic has become a traditional event across the region. It is the kick-off to the holiday season that includes Lighting of the Village, the Parade of Lights, Santa’s Workshop, carolers, and street performers.

Interested in vendor, sponsorship, or parade opportunities at Moonlight Magic?

Download the 2018 Moonlight Magic Vendor Form (not yet available) and return it to GSFABA with payment no later than Friday, November 9, 2018. Checks can be made payable to Greater Shelburne Falls Area Business Association. 

The 2018 Moonlight Magic event will feature a parade of lights. Anyone can enter a float into the parade for free. Line up is at 4:45 pm at the Lamson property, and the parade will kick off at 5:15 pm. To participate in the parade of lights, complete this form (starting Summer 2018).

Sponsorship opportunities will be available and range from $30.00 to $750.00+. Our most popular option is the lamp post tag which markets your business AND decorates the village. Click here for a full list of sponsorship opportunities.
