Mr. Douglas Cranson (right) was given the Marvin Shippee award for distinguished community service. Cranson was nominated by Wes Rice, who was also honored for his 12-years of work for the Business Association. Cranson was noted for his 70 year history with scouting, his many contributions to the Ashfield community, and his stellar citizenship.

Tributes to Wes (left) were offered by past GSFABA director Art Schwenger, past president Michael Garfield-Wright, and current director Carmela Lanza-Weil. Wes will retire (again - and for perhaps the last time) at the end of this month.

Two $500 GSFABA scholarships were announced to two Mohawk Trail Regional School students: Emma R. Guyette and Samuel R. Rode.

Thanks to our breakfast sponsors: People's United Bank and Dancing Star.
