The Greater Shelburne Falls Area Business Association is looking for an Administrative Program Coordinator to join our team.

The Administrative Program Coordinator will work under the direction of the Executive Director. The person in this position will be responsible for a variety of projects and programs.

S/he will be extremely organized, detail oriented, have outstanding interpersonal skills, professional appearance, and provide a high level of customer service. S/he will be flexible, outgoing, good humored, able to switch gears quickly and gracefully, able to keep track of many details and work well both alone and as part of a team.

The position requires lifting up to 30 pounds, going up and down stairs daily, and walking and standing at events. A working knowledge of PC software, and hardware, including the Internet, email programs, and Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.

General responsibilities include:

  • Greeting members, tourists, and visitors in person and on the phone
  • Web site monitoring and updates
  • Writing and/or proofreading business correspondence, marketing materials, and reports
  • Filing and organizing
  • Distributing posters and fliers
  • Event coordination

Experience in marketing, development, volunteer management, budgeting, and/or arts experience a plus!

This is a part-time position requiring a commitment of 16-hours per week with occasional additional hours, as needed and available.
