Welcome to Combretum Park - Nature Reserve...

Combretum Park was established on the farm Haakdoringpoort, approx 15 km south of Modimolle, previously known as Nylstroom.  It has been developed by the current owner and manager Dennis Driver, who acquired the farm about 40 years ago.

The property covers a total area of approx 1300 hectares, which is divided into two areas, one being the commercial farming and camping area, which covers about 400 hectares, and the other being the Game Reserve enclosure, of about 900 hectares.  These two areas are divided by a national road, leading to "Boekenhout" and "Nylsvlei".

The property is situated about 4 km from the national road leading from Modimolle to Marble Hall, and is accessible with any vehicle.

There are 10 brand new Chalets all single bedroom, a communal ablution block and kitchen including a braai area, there is also a jungle gym for children.

The rooms contain 2 single beds, a desk and cloths cupboard, and has a veranda with chairs.
The ablution blocks also have laundry facilities, and the kitchen unit has all the facilities, including fridge/freezer and microwave oven.

Although it is basic, it is very functional and extremely well maintained.

Rates are R100-00 per person/per night for non members and R70-00 for members.  There is also a swimming pool with grassy surrounds.

The chalets have to be booked, and the same contact details are to be used as for the Camp Site.
