The GSFABA Placemap continues to be one of the most successful advertising tools for the Shelburne Falls region. Approximately 30,000 copies are printed and distributed each year. The maps are distributed all over the region and at The Big E. The ads are $250 each and are sold on a first-come, first paid basis.
The map is printed in full color and the color placement in each ad is chosen by the map designer, with the effectiveness of each ad in mind.
Designing the ad is included in the purchase of placemap advertising. However, advertisers are welcome to submit their own camera-ready art to size (using the dimensions given above for a horizontal ad), as a black and white PDF (including halftones if desired), with the opportunity to determine the placement of color within their ad.
Long-time favorite Susan Wyant has retired, and this year’s Placemap will have a new look with new designers, Jane Beatrice Wegscheider and Phyllis Labanowski. Jane and Phyllis are hard at work to create a new, spectacular map that will grab attention and draw customers to advertising businesses.
Download a 2017 Placemap Ad Request Form and send to the GSFABA Office no later than March 24, 2017.

The Greater Shelburne Falls Area Business Association (GSFABA) organizes events in the Village, the heart of the West County, so that your business will benefit from the thousands of people that attend these events each year. The GSFABA has created this marketing package with just some of the events we organize to improve your visibility and marketing efforts with the village events.
There are many ways YOU can support these events that are FREE:
Post them on your Facebook Page and website, send out an email blast to your clients and friends, hang an event poster in your store window, stay open late, connect with local artists, community organizations, and youth to offer something unique at your business that connects to the events (call the GSFABA for ideas).
